New Marina is Developed in the North Texas Area
Cottonwood Creek Marina in Little Elm, Texas

Lake Lewisville has many great attractions, but this year's main highlight will be the new Cottonwood Creek Marina in Little Elm, Texas. Designed and constructed by Atlantic-Meeco, it will be the only marina in northern Texas to feature a polyethylene-encased flotation system.

Cottonwood Creek

With easy lake access, Cottonwood Creek Marina will include 157 covered slips for both sail and power boats and a fuel dock. The master plan consists of over 700 slips to be completed in two more phases. Each slip contains a 30" divider and an 8' patio for relaxing after a day of fun on the water. A portion of the 16' walkway is installed with removable concrete decking for easy access to utilities. The one-sided slips are bordered by a 300' wavewall. Each slip is equipped with electricity and water, with restrooms nearby.

Atlantic-Meeco's anchoring system is a custom-designed, telescopic pipe structure for 40' deep water. Cottonwood Creek Marina boasts a Super-Span roof system in a custom green color to blend with the surrounding wooded cove.

"Cottonwood Creek Marina was developed to evenly distribute the traffic on Lake Lewisville," said Ben Miller, owner of the marina. "Little Elm is the fastest growing area in north Texas, so the marina was needed to accommodate the tremendous growth."
