Atlantic Meeco will begin construction October 15, 2001. The marina is scheduled to open March 1, 2002. The owners are Ron Doll and Jim Ewbank. Ron Doll was on hand at the Atlantic-Meeco plant in McAlester, OK to officially begin construction of the project.
Ron and Jim chose concrete decking and our environmentallly friendly Permacase floats for the their project. Permacase® floats are engineered to remain buoyant even when punctured, the floats are constructed of a damage-resistant polyethylene encasement and contain marine-bonded, low absorption polystyrene. Jim said they chose our removable concrete deck panels with rock aggregate finish because it is attractive, long lasting and maintenance free.
The marina will have covered slips, for cruisers ranging in
from 50' to 36' in length. Paradise Cove will be protected
by 1, 119 L.F. of Atlantic-Meeco's WaveWall attenuator.
The marina will also feature a floating ships store, full service
electric, phone and TV at all slips.
